Suggest a sauna

SAUNAMILL introduces saunas in Japan to visitors from abroad, chosen for their design. If you run a sauna — or know one — whose space is worth the trip, tell us.

What we list

Saunas designed by architects or design firms, sentō and hot springs renovated with care, private saunas and huts in buildings with a story. We write every page from the facility's official information and use official photos, with sources stated.

How it works

1. Send the facility's name and official website through the contact form.
2. We check the official information and photos, and reply by email.
3. If we can list it, we publish an English page with photos, hours, directions and the address in Japanese.

Already listed? Link to your page

Every sauna we list has an English page with photos, hours, directions and the address in Japanese. Many visitors look for an English page before they come; you are welcome to link to yours from your website or social media. Replace your-sauna with the address of your page:

If your website states your tattoo rules, payment methods or English support, we show them on your page. If your hours or details change, tell us through the contact form and we will update the page.
